Hello after three weeks in Germany!

hey, sorry its taken me soo long to post again. ive been busy, with school starting and everything. schools really different here, ill put up my schedule so you can see it! school starts at 7:40 and ends whenever your lessons end!

monday- english, english, biology, biology (but i might drop that, cause ive already taken it and it really boring), art, Philosophie, and Spanish- i end at 2

Tuesday- spanish, spanish, history history, physic, german, and sport- i end at 2:50 because of sport, its an hour and a half

wednesday- philosophie, philosophie, nothing, nothing, math, and biology, i end at 1,

thursday- art, art, phisics, physics, history, and spanish, i end at 1

friday- german, german, math, math, english- i end at 12

Ive Arrived!!

I am happy to inform that I have finally arrived in Germany, safely and happily...

my flight left at 9:30pm and arrived at 11:30am...

my hostfamily, the hornetz', were there to great me with a poster reading "Wilkommen Marissa!" after a three-hour drive back to Hiddesen, Detmold, i was shown around the house, which is absolutely beautiful with a really nice garden and lots of glass windows.. they even have solar panels on the roof that produce energy for the whole family and then they sell it to others, as well as produce hot water for the family (not drinking water), I unpacked my suitcases and set up my laptop and the rest of my stuff.

Im really tired from jet lag, and even though it's only 8pm here, im gonna crash soon, can you believe it's 90F here? Though, apparently, its not usual, and shouldn't last much longer. good, because its soo hot its uncomfortable, and they dont have airconditioning in most places in europe, unlike the States. my internet connection is not cooperating right now, so I cant upload pictures with this post, though Ill try again later, and if not, Ill send them out in an email. Detmold, Germany; where I'll be until July!

This is the town where I'll be staying from 6 August 2009!
It's three weeks until I go, time's gone so fast!
I'm getting ready, buying new cloths and suitcases, figuring out what I should bring and what should stay behind.
I'm trying to convince Bugba to allow me to put Lani in the suitcase. I don't know how I'll survive the year without my pooch baby... sucks.
My flight is 6 August at around 9:30, JFK terminal 1, and I arrive in Frankfurt on 7 August around 11:30AM, terminal 1.
I'm both nervous and excited about going... excited in general but nervous about learning German, going to school, etc.
